Lora Petro and Bill Gerassmiou make up the dynamic team here at Southshore Medical Aesthetics
Lora, originally from Kingsville, moved to beautiful Amherstburg in 2008. She graduated from the University of Windsor with her Nursing degree, and continued her education obtaining her Masters in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner designation along with post masters education in Wound management through the University of Toronto. Her education for aesthetics comes from the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine, whose professors are top cosmetic doctors/surgeons/nurses from around the world. Lora practices in both primary and emergency medicine locally, and has been part of the medical field since 2001.
Branching out into aesthetic medicine seemed natural, with her fine attention to detail. Before stepping foot into the medical field, Lora worked closely creating exquisite jewelry focusing on detailed concepts for the high-end consumer. Taking a concept to reality, and showing her clients that their vision could indeed become a reality has transferred well into aesthetic medicine.
Bill is a Registered Practical Nurse with more than a decade of experience within the medical industry from community family centered care to the acute setting of the hospital. He studied with the Canadian Board of Esthetic Medicine in Toronto and has gained invaluable knowledge and experience in a large array of medical procedures. In addition to his nursing education, he also has years of experience as a machinist which helps to explain his attention for accuracy and detail.
Bill has a natural desire to help others feel good and comfortable in their own skin. Together, he can help determine a plan that helps accentuate your own natural look while allowing you the opportunity to determine what your skin or hair care goals will be.
When not working with clients, Bill has a large love for his family. He enjoys his time gardening, fishing, and boating and spending time on any beach he can find.
